The use of decorative material cladding has taken on a dominant role as a tool for redeveloping architectural space.

In addition to the chromatic aspect, new artistic techniques have brought to the project's vision aspects increasingly related to the dimensionality of surfaces, which through decorative processing, modelling and transformation, contribute to realising the language of design that translates into the design of the environment, thus becoming a distinctive element of the creative project.
Identifying the role played by creativity within the design process, the variations, the dialogue between nature, artist and society allows us to outline the design choices within the cultural context of reference, using "mixing" as the key to understanding,
An open dialogue with materials that feeds on the continuous exchange between perceived stimuli and the needs of the designer, which is reflected in the processes of creating a unique and non-repeatable design vision.
The aim behind every choice made is manifested in the need to transform space into art.

The artistic creation given by the use of materials is nothing more than a direct expression of the vision and lines that the designer draws, combined with the knowledge of the use of the material and its transformation by the artist.
A winning combination, an inescapable binomial between art and matter, creativity and design, symbolism and meaning, artist and designer.
"the mixture" the continuous flow that links apparently distant aspects of the project but which find a voice in each other, architecture transforms the environment and art translates its meaning.

about us

The idea

The Mixture project

Architects and designers, art and art academy, decorators and artists, united in the creation of a project with multiple visions, cooperating to interpret the countless facets expressing the globality of the work of art.

Flavia Loggia

"Mixture' was born out of the need to communicate a new, all-embracing vision of art and the figures that orbit around it.

Identifying the role played by creativity within the design process, the variations, the dialogue between nature, artist and society allows us to outline the design choices within the cultural context of reference, using "blending" as the key to understanding the process.

Gianmarco Loggia

The art of redeveloping materials is the message of our project.he aim is to show how a material can be transformed from wood into a sheet of brass and oxidised copper while enhancing the design created, how a simple wooden cube can become a design object thanks to a mixture of metals, or how to go from simple curved plastic rods to polished and precious engraved marble arches, from worn floors to continuous slabs of marble or metal or concrete, as well as many other furnishing and design elements.

Academy21

A center of innovation created at the company headquarters for decorators who wish to specialize and get involved by learning the use of new materials, inserting themselves in international projects and with the aim of joining an exclusive network of specialized professionals, the Italian Plasmatori Italiani, specialists in the application of Plasma 3D® (Loggia patent) who cooperate internationally. In Academy 21 it is possible to choose various specific courses for walls and floors and dedicated masters. Italian Plasmers following the Accademia 21 Master course can continue their training by taking the Master Decor qualification.

As of today, Academy 21 is an international training centre and hosts professionals from all over the world, singing thousands of qualified International Plasma Makers and 20 Master Decor Specialists in 3D Plasma, each in a material product that sets them apart.

MIXTURE

When does a work become a work of art?

Mixture represents the common thread, the continuous flow that links apparently distant aspects of the project but which find a voice in each other. The design choices arising from this joint vision allow maximum expression of the potential of the materials which at the same time give soul to the architectural work.

All this takes the sense of "Opera" commonly used objects that are decontextualized to make a different, new use of them; at the same time, the whole thing strongly takes on the character proper to "Art" in its creative meaning, which allows for an aesthetic redevelopment and a new life to the object thanks to the use of patented decorative coatings with a refined design.

An artistic and at the same time cultural transformation, which shows that transformation in itself is art.
